Early Years

At Acumen, the Early Years are where curiosity blossoms and confidence takes root. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and aligned with the Cambridge Early Years Framework, our blended indoor–outdoor learning invites children to explore, imagine, and connect through play. Every experience—from phonics and creative maths to art, music, mindfulness, and nature exploration—builds the independence and joy essential for lifelong learning.

Grades 1 & 2

In Grades 1 and 2, Acumen strengthens the foundation for lifelong curiosity. Academic concepts come alive through real-world, hands-on experiences that nurture confident communicators and critical thinkers. Children deepen reading and writing skills, approach mathematics through understanding, and engage in science, art, and physical education that connect imagination with everyday discovery.

Grades 3 & 4

By Grades 3 and 4, Acumen learners become explorers and innovators. They engage in interdisciplinary projects that link knowledge with purpose—solving problems, collaborating, and thinking globally. Through creative writing, applied maths, science experiments, global studies, and emerging technologies like coding and robotics, students develop the curiosity, creativity, and confidence to shape a sustainable future.
